Cellar Hunt Silver and Medallion

Me and a friend stumbled onto a site.  What’s funny is that we both found the same spot independently.  We were on the phone explaining a site we had.  It was comical.  Once we realized it was the same place, we set up a weekend hunt.

This place is pretty neat.  You would have no idea it was there if you weren’t looking for it.  Hidden in plain sight.  There is something about finding these kinds of sites that is really fun.

I arrived a little earlier and I decided to hit another spot close by.  Literally five minutes into it, I found a Barber dime.  Gotta love that.  It was a slight signal, probably on edge.  Lots of trash around.

My buddy showed up, so we went over to the cellar hole.  We had a tough go of it.  I found a bunch of wheats.  I also found a religious medallion which was pretty neat.  As we were leaving, my buddy got a nice copper signal in the front of the property.  If he doesn’t pull out a freakin 1865 two cent piece.  I couldn’t believe it.  I have yet to get one of those.  I was very excited for him.

After that bit of excitement, we went back to my previous spot.  I got two quarters.  Booyah!
